Pain in your lower back is usually a result of pinched nerve. Such state might cause serious mobility impairments, weakness, disorders of the body such as intestines, or numbness.
The largest nerve in the human body is the sciatica nerve. Sciatica nerve is located in the lower side of the spine up to the feet. This is why it causes pain along our lower body which results with serious problems in our mobility impairments.
If the herniated disc pressures the sciatic nerve you will feel the pain, and this is the main cause for all the irritation of the bone and muscle that is undergoing. The tight muscles that are parallel basically are the pain precipitating.
Piriformis muscle goes through the front side of the sacrum to pelvis with the muscle being attached to the femur’s top. This way it is intertwined together with the sciatic nerve system; therefore the pelvic pain is linked with muscles and bones that might give you a feeling of spreadpaineffect.
Doctors call piriformis syndrome a state in which the piriformis is pressing against the sciatic nerve and other nerves. Physiotherapists and massage therapists know immediately when the piriformis are placed in parallel position because it is common it is the main cause for lower pelvic pain.
Surgery can be avoided unless the pain is caused by piriformis rather than the herniated disc.
